What Is Xplorr? Cloud Cost Management Platform for AWS, Azure, and GCP

Xplorr is a cloud cost management platform. It pulls billing data from your AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts into a single dashboard and gives you tools to understand, forecast, and reduce your cloud spend.

Most teams run workloads across two or three cloud providers. That means two or three billing consoles, two or three sets of reserved instance dashboards, and no single place to answer “how much are we spending and where is it going?” Xplorr fixes that.

  • Platform / DevOps engineers who need to track cloud costs across accounts and providers
  • Engineering managers who own budgets for their team’s infrastructure
  • FinOps teams running cost optimization programs across the organization
  • CTOs and VPs of Engineering who need monthly spend reports and forecasts

No unified view across providers. AWS Cost Explorer shows AWS. Azure Cost Management shows Azure. Xplorr shows everything in one place, normalized and comparable.

Costs spike and nobody notices. Xplorr detects anomalies automatically using a 7-day rolling baseline. When your daily EC2 spend jumps from $120 to $340, you get an alert — not a surprise bill.

Optimization recommendations are scattered. AWS Trusted Advisor, Azure Advisor, GCP Recommender — each has its own format and its own console. Xplorr aggregates them and adds AI-powered analysis that works across providers.

Budgets are set-and-forget. Xplorr budgets alert at configurable thresholds (80%, 100%, or custom) via email and Slack. Predictive alerts warn you when your forecast exceeds the budget, even if you haven’t hit the threshold yet.

  • Unified dashboard — All cloud spend in one view. Filter by provider, account, service, region, tag, or time period.
  • Anomaly detection — Automatic spike detection against a rolling 7-day baseline. Alerts by email and Slack.
  • AI recommendations — Right-sizing, idle resource cleanup, reserved instance and savings plan coverage analysis. Estimated savings in dollars.
  • Budget alerts — Per-account or org-wide monthly budgets with threshold notifications and forecast-based predictive alerts.
  • Cost forecasting — End-of-month and multi-month forecasts based on historical trends.
  • Tag-based allocation — Allocate costs by team, project, or environment using your existing cloud tags.
  • Network cost analysis — Break down data transfer and network costs across regions and services.
  • Savings coverage — Track reserved instance and savings plan utilization across all accounts.
  • MCP server — Connect Claude AI to your cost data. Ask questions in natural language: “What are my top 5 most expensive services this month?”
  • Slack bot — Query costs, get recommendations, and create budgets directly from Slack. 16 tools, natural language.
  • REST API — Programmatic access to all cost data, recommendations, budgets, and alerts.
  • Scheduled reports — Auto-generated PDF and Excel reports, delivered monthly.
  • Read-only access — Xplorr never modifies your cloud resources. AWS connections use a cross-account IAM role with read-only permissions. Azure uses a Service Principal with Reader role. GCP uses a service account with Billing Viewer access.
  • Encryption at rest — All cloud credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. They are never returned to the frontend.
  • Multi-tenant isolation — Every query is scoped by organization ID. Your data is never visible to other accounts.
